Prayer for Salvation

As a Christian and a believer it is part of our Christian duty to help others accept Christ as their
personal Savior. Just as perhaps someone prayed that we would repent and acceptt Christ, let us do that for a love one, friend, a co-worker, an enemy, anyone we know who needs to be set free
from their sins. Please pray this prayer for someone until they accept Christ. God will be well
pleased and the angels in heaven will rejoice.

Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your only begotten Son to die for us, that whosoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. It is my privilege now to pray for
____________, who needs to know Jesus as his/her personal Savior and Lord.
May he/she believe in his/her heart that Jesus is the Christ and You have raised Him from
the dead. I pray that you would open___________________'s eyes to see that eternal life
is Your gift to him/her through Jesus Christ.


Help______________ to know how much you love him/her and to confess his/her sins to
you in full repentance. As he/she does so, may he/she realize that you are forgiving him/her of
all his/her sins and cleansing him/her from all unrighteousness. Thank You Father.
I pray that______________ will see that you have commended your love to him/her, in that
while he/she was yet a sinner, Christ died for him/her. Reveal to him/her that the wages of sin
is death but Your gift to him is eternal life.

cannot come in any other way, for it is your gift, not of works.
